Welcome Tritons Families, old and new, to the 2017 summer season!
We hope that each family is able to contribute as much effort as they can to each of our fundraisers to help things run smoothly and to ensure that we are able to meet our fundraising goals. Thanks to the efforts of the fundraising committee and the volunteer commitment of the parents, with last year and the previous year we were able to raise enough money to help with cost of pool rental, coaching staff, t-shirts and equipment. This equipment helps our children to have better practices that will in turn help them to be more competitive in the upcoming season.
We ask that each family contributes 10 hours of fundraising/parent participation and 8 hours mandatory parent participation at our annual Swim Meet in July. You can earn your 10 hours of fundraising/parent participation through the some of the major fundraising efforts coming up:
- Krispy Kreme Fundraiser, May 27
- Ford Test Drive, July 8
- Car Wash and Hot Dog Sale, July 8
- Silent Auction Donations, Needed by July 7
- Bottle Drive, Donations dropped at Cloverdale Regional Recycling at any time (make sure you tell them it is for the Cloverdale Tritons)
Please see the form which outlines additional areas where you can participate with fundraising activities and general participation for swim club activities.
These include activities like cooking breakfast at swim meets, helping with the Black and Teal Potluck, the organizing of the Regional Dinner, and the year-end awards night.
We also need helpers to assist with set up and take down of lane ropes for each practice.
Each family will be responsible for completing this Parent Participation Tracking Form and submitting this to the Fundraising Committee by the end of the season.
The Silent Auction Baskets for the swim meet are a huge part of our fundraising efforts so if you know someone who owns a company and is looking for some advertising or would like to donate to our club, please give them a copy of the letter attached and bring in your donation.
Don't forget to note your donation on the Parent Participation Tracking form.
The most important thing to remember is that this effort is all going toward helping our kids have a successful season. We are hoping to make this a tight-knit community of parent volunteers so that swim club is a fun experience for everyone.
